SECOND HAND

Second Hand stores are popular in Sweden. One of the biggest, Stockholms Stadsmission, is promoted by Red Cross Org and manages to drive a more sustainable way of living. Since moving to Sweden I have loved the concept and wanted to make something that reflects my appreciation.

While there is demand for second hand shopping, it isn't portrayed as glamorously. I wanted to change that using my creative vision.

So I whipped up a concept and put together a shoot with Josefine Mattsson, a Stockholm-based photographer. We shared our second hand products, I art directed the shoot, edited the images and also pulled in Pranav Nayak, a retired copywriter, for headline help.

The result -  is a personal project and homage to the amazing efforts of Stockholm Stadsmission.
